Do you ever get sick of your kids or your friends picking up your iPhone and wanting to play with it all the time? Now you can deter them with a new free app called Play Dead. This app makes your phone display the same screen that appears when your battery is dead and the iPhone is powering down.
This is a very simple app to use. Tap on the app and your phone will automatically display the spinner on the main screen. You can return to your home screen and normal use by pushing the home button.
This app was developed by a father of a 4-year-old. His son always wanted to play with his iPhone, and knew the spinner meant the battery was dead. This app was a great way to limit his use of the iPhone.
