To move around the GeoSphere and save your planet, you must tilt your iDevice. This utilizes the accelerometer, so that you can make your way through this geometric world.
Along with moving across the planet via accelerometer, you also have three other controls: the left side sub-weapon, right side main weapon, and right side directional pad. Although use of the accelerometer is a neat way to experience a game, the controls can be tricky at first. However, it does get easier over time.
The main weapons are the offensive weapons. These include a spray of bullets, a triangular arc of bullets, or a single powerful bullet. The sub-weapons are more defensive, but still incredibly useful in defeating enemies. The different sub-weapons are a radial beam that can damage enemies surrounding you, a single bullet that auto-targets the nearest enemy, and a shield that protects you from damage for a short time.
My favorite weapons to use in this geometric war are the arc of bullets and the shield. With these, I could defeat more enemies yet play defensively when I have to.
The game may be quite repetitive, but that is what classic arcade games are made of - lots of "pew pew" and not much else. Truth be told, the graphics and controls could use a bit of sprucing up, but reliving the good old-fashioned arcade days through the gameplay and the music is definitely satisfying.
