Postale ($0.99) by 7twenty7 LLC is an app that makes sharing your travel experiences fun and easy.

When we travel, sometimes we want to send something back to friends and family. Remember the old fashioned way of sending postcards? Now, take that but put it on your iPhone - you end up with Postale.

Postale allows you to create your own postcards using your photos to send back to friend and family. Because those traditional postcards were almost always cheesy. There's no better way to share your experiences with others than with your own pictures!

The main menu of Postale gives you Create A New Card, Help, and About. Of course, the fun lays in the Create A New Card option.

From here, you get to pick the format of your card and the theme. Format choices include portrait side-by-side, landscape side-by-side, and square photo vertical. The three themes are plain (white), papyrus, and airmail.

Whichever format and theme you pick, you're then taken to the next step. Here, tapping on a section of the postcard will allow you to customize it.

The Title and Message fields will allow you to type in your personal text. Title will have bigger font than the message, respectively. You can also change the font for both fields or just one.

The photo section allows you to snap a new photo or pull one from your device Photo Library. You can pinch the photo to zoom it in or out, drag it to move it, twirl it to rotate it, and even have it appear in color, black & white, or sepia.

When you're done with the photo, title, and message, the last step is to put on a stamp. There's 12 designs to choose from. Once that's picked, your card is done and ready to be shared!

Of course, if you change your mind about anything, you can go back to the previous steps to adjust anything, or even discard the entire Postale as well.

Sharing is done by email, Facebook, or Twitter. You can also save a local copy in your Camera Roll.

Overall, I found Postale to be a quick and easy experience for sending postcards. The interface is simple but looks good. The app icon looks amazing, and shows that the developers put a lot of thought into designing the app.

I would like to see more options for stamps and themes in the future though, because the current options seem a bit limiting.

This app is on sale for 99 cents for a limited time to celebrate the launch. So if you like to share your adventures with others, send them a digital postcard instead of an email!
