Worthwhile ($1.99) by Cross Forward Consulting, LLC is an app that will turn your Twitter feed into your own curated RSS reader.

If you're a Twitter user, you'll notice that there are tons of links that come in every day. It can get tough going through all of them and finding the good stuff amongst all the other tweets in the timeline. But now Worthwhile is here to help you sort through it all and save stuff for later reading.

You'll have to log in to your Twitter account in Worthwhile, and if you have an Instapaper account, you can log in to that as well. Once you're logged in, you can view your Twitter timeline or navigate between your lists (if you have any).

When you're viewing a source of tweets, you'll get a list of tweets that contain links. The middle will show the link name and URL, as well as the people that tweeted it. If it's multiple people that tweeted it, the images of both people will appear.

Along with the tweets are two buttons for Hide and Read Later. If a tweet does not interest you, you can hide it from the sources. The Read Later button will send the link to your Instapaper queue.

Tapping on a tweet will take you to the webpage for you to read it now. If you take a look at the link and then decide to save it later when you have more time, you can do that too with the "Read Later" button.

The settings for Worthwhile allow you to configure your Twitter and Instapaper accounts, as well as choose what apps to manage for accessing your Instapaper and Twitter accounts as well. You can also manage which lists will appear as well as what sites should appear in your sources. There are options to use mobilizer, weekend mode, conceal the hide button, conceal link URL, auto advance, and even left handed mode.

Worthwhile is a good way to let you manage your Twitter links. If you use Twitter to get your news and other stuff to read, then you know that the good stuff can get buried in those unnecessary tweets. That's why Worthwhile is great for helping you figure out what's actually "worthwhile" to read now or later.

So those that use Twitter for finding stuff to read, Worthwhile is definitely worth your time. At $2 for a universal app for your iPhone and ipad, it's worth checking out.
