Once the clock counts down to one, you and your friend become enemies as the snowball fighting begins. By swiping toward your enemy, your guys will throw snowballs as fast as possible. You are able to hide behind snow walls for protection and you can move around to get a better angle on the competition. Special items will drop randomly and will give you extra health or other bonuses. But watch out, some of them are meant for the enemy and a misplaced snowball will leave your frozen in ice for a few seconds. The winner is the player with at least one team member left standing.

The graphics in this app are amazing. There are also funny little additions, like the random snow monster that will suddenly appear and block the screen, or the puppy that walks into the fight and piddles on the battlefield, leaving a yellow stain behind.

Overall, this game is a great way for two people to play at the same time, something that is a rarity on the iPad. There are pass-and-play games and games that are playable over Wi-Fi, but there are very few games that allow two people to compete against each other at the same time.
