If you enjoy 2D real-time strategy games, like Crystal War, you'll be in for a great treat soon when Swords & Soldiers hits the App Store. The game has been available for consoles such as the Wii. According to Pocket Gamer, Swords & Soldiers will be published by Chillingo. The developer, Ronimo Games, is also involved with the project. The game looks very vibrant and lively, with visually pleasing character models and backgrounds. There will be three different nations available for players to control. The nations are: Vikings, Aztecs and Chinese, each has their own strengths and weaknesses. "The Vikings are on a quest to create the ultimate BBQ sauce, Aztecs are fighting in defence (sic) of the Holy Pepper, while the Chinese are just out to blow things up with their special explosive toys," according to Pocket Gamer. Each of these nations has their own campaign and there is also a skirmish mode available in the game. Multiplayer will also be available, at least for the iPad version, from the get go. Price and exact release date haven't been announced yet but expect news very soon.
