The iOS 5 Beta Brings Live App Syncing Progress With iTunes

We already know that you can now use your iDevice while syncing with iTunes in iOS 5. Just moments ago, we were tipped off by a developer about an interesting new tidbit in the iOS 5 beta; you now can view apps being installed in real-time while the sync takes place with iTunes.
The app will pop-up on the screen like it normally would if you were downloading one from the App Store and in the exact same way a progress bar will be visible displaying the installation's progress. If you want a clearer idea of what we're talking about, check out the video embedded below:
With the addition of background syncing, implementing this small feature seems like the logical thing to do. However, we believe it is more appropriate for iTunes' Wi-Fi syncing capabilities since you are actually downloading apps from your computer.
