When you open the app, you get a cinematic shot of the pinball table, showing off the intricate detail that Ask Homework is known for. The stainless steel pinball realistically reflects images that are out of your view. The glass covering of the tabletop shows various imperfections, including smudges that appear as the result of wiping it down with a dirty towel.

There is only one pinball table, but you have your choice of five different games. Classic mode is self-explanatory. In Hardcore mode, the game simulates a higher tilt angle, making the game harder to play. In Running Board mode, the point score is based on how long you can keep the pinball on the table. In Checkpoint mode, you must hit each of the six drop targets within a predetermined amount of time. In Target Shooting mode, your goal is to hit the rollout targets as fast as possible to gain the most points.

Visually, this game is astounding. Ask Homework goes out of their way to make the most realistic-looking graphics. Their attention to detail is what sets them apart from other high quality graphic games. There are five different camera modes for viewing the table, but all of them are from a follow-the-ball perspective, which can be disconcerting for some. The point of the app is to show off the beautiful graphics, but it will not stop people from giving the game a poor rating for not offering a stationary view. Hopefully, the developers will decide to add that feature in an update.

Overall, this is just as awesome as the developer’s previous release, Ball Towers HD, but it is much easier to play. It is pinball at its finest. The graphics are stunning and the action is highly responsive. There are five different types of games, so if you are a fan of pinball, this app will leave you drooling for more.
