Thrillist has arrived for the iPad. With it, users can find out about local happenings and recommendations. Created by Tim Barber Inc., the free app accesses information located on the Thrillist website. Customers use the app to find the best places to eat, drink, and shop in their location. The app, which is only available in 16 U.S. cities and London (see below), includes the following features:
* NEAR: use GPS to find Thrillist recommendations closest to you, or easily select neighborhoods to see what’s good in your city * NEW: see Thrillist’s latest brand-new or undiscovered local goodness * TOP: the very best of Thrillist, as determined by your fellow readers * MY: add articles to My Thrillist, your personal archive of favorites that you can access across all of Thrillist's platforms * NATION: enjoy the best of the web with Thrillist Nation's daily picks * Checklists: editorially curated packages of Thrillist articles * History: view a list of articles you've read on Thrillist for iPad and quickly jump back
