A Chance To Win A DocAS For iPad Promo Code With A Retweet Or Comment
July 18, 2011
AppAdvice has teamed up with 9 Square Workshop, our latest AppAdvice Daily podcast sponsor, in order to offer you a chance to win one of 14 promo codes for DocAS ($2.99) for iPad.
DocAS is a powerful yet user-friendly productivity app for iPad. It allows you to manage a variety of files from different sources, view popular file types, annotate PDFs, record audio, take handwritten notes, and even print files via AirPrint.
Files can be imported and exported using iTunes File Sharing, Dropbox, iDisk, Google Docs, or any WebDav or FTP server. You can also create your own PDF file and just start typing notes or writing with the tip of your finger thanks to the app's smooth handwriting engine and palm recognition. Imported PDFs can be annotated using vector shapes, highlights, and typed text as well.
By default, your different notebooks are displayed in a horizontally scrolling graphical form, allowing you to quickly see the title, date modified, and file type. If you have numerous notebooks, however, you can display them in a thumbnail-style grid. Notebooks can also be filed under specific folders to keep everything neat and tidy, and each folder can be separately password protected.
The app features a vast selection of tools in order to help you get your work done as efficiently as possible. It includes three eraser types, four paper styles, 12 font/pen colors, three pen sizes, the ability to manipulate text and shapes after creation, the ability to attach audio memos to documents, and much more.
