If you own an iDevice and are a fan of CNN, you are in luck. The apps for iPhone and iPad have both been updated to include live TV streaming for content on the fly. However, you must be a subscriber to a supported network that offers the 24-hour cable channel.
The participating providers for this service include AT&T, Comcast, Cox, DISH Network, Suddenlink and Verizon. As long as you subscribe to one of them, you should have access to the live feed.
CNN for iPad has been updated to version 1.1 while CNN App for iPhone has been updated to version 1.2. Some other minor improvements have also been added, here is the feature list (from the app description):
If you want a Web-based solution to try out what the app offers, you can take advantage of live CNN coverage on: http://www.cnn.com/video/. CNN is a great app because of how much content it offers. It is one of those apps that should be on the iDevice of any user if they have even a remote interest in world events and news. The app offers varied content from video clips to articles and has a great way to segregate content. Check out CNN for iPad on the App Store for free. If you don't own an iPad, then check out CNN App for iPhone.
