July 20, 2011
If you own a Wii, you may have heard of Lost Winds. The WiiWare game has been very highly rated by gamers and often compared to full-fledged Wii games. The reason is because it makes great use of gestures from the Wiimotes and offers great gameplay. Well, the title may be heading for iOS soon, according to Touch Arcade. "Eurogamer nabbed the exclusive on this one via a conversation with Frontier head honcho David Braben. Braben showed the pub the game running on an iPad and demoed its virtual control / touch control scheme. As of right now, players will move Toku with a virtual joystick, but will be able to create the wind effects with on-screen touch," as reported by Touch Arcade via news from EuroGamer. The game combines platforming and puzzle elements with interactive gameplay. It also features a great art style, although it isn't a terribly lengthy game. Even if you own the Wii version, it should be great to be able to play Lost Winds in HD. Here is a trailer to see what to expect from the title: Look for more details on the game soon.
