Hard Lines Will Soon Get A Massive Update

July 29, 2011
The hybrid iPhone game, Hard Lines — which mixes gameplay elements from Snake, Tron, and Pac-Man — will soon receive a massive update, as reported by Pocket Gamer. In this next revision the game will have Game Center integration and native iPad support for HD resolutions. The Game Center addition will most likely be related to achievements and not online multiplayer. However, the information was brief and revealed from a Split Milk Studio tweet, so other features could be included in the update as well. It is great that the game will be playable on the iPad in all its glory. The larger screen should make the action more visible and in your face. It would be nice if some type of multiplayer was included as well. Hard Lines is a very addictive and retro-inspired game with a twitch arcade focus. There are various mini-games and several gameplay modes available, but the fundamental goal is to keep the (glowing) yellow light cycle from crashing into anything. If you enjoy arcade games like Tron or the classic Snake, check out Hard Lines. If you own an iPad the update should make it even more worthwhile to grab. Hard Lines currently costs $.99 on the App Store.
