Hardcore Platformer ChocoRun May Be The Ultimate Gaming-Skills Test

A recent platformer slipped under our radar, and it's worth mentioning for anyone who is a fan of Super Meat Boy on Steam, or iDevice games like 1-bit Ninja and League of Evil. The game is called ChocoRun and is a twitch platformer with a catch.
Unlike the previously mentioned titles, it plays on rails with the player just having to tap on the touchscreen to jump. It is currently available as a universal app; worth noting since so many platformers seem to only offer scaled-up content for iPad gamers. Despite the simple nature, the game is much deeper than just an endless runner. You don't just tap once to perform a jump, but can hold the button to jump further or press it lightly to do a small leap. You have to carefully gauge the distance and aim for destinations.
There are many obstacles in the way so you really have to time your jumps carefully in this title. The other thing the game offers that is similar to the previously mentioned titles is wall jumping. You can wall jump back and forth, but in ChocoRun it is particularly difficult.
Overall, this is a twitch platformer for hardcore gamers with a lot of patience. It doesn't offer amazing graphics, but it offers a unique form of challenge that any gamer should find worthy of their time.
You can grab ChocoRun on the App Store as a universal app right now at a price of only $.99.
