6th Planet ($.99 -> Free, 161.6 MB): A comic book driven casual game that requires you to navigate your space pod to the landing site on the opposite side of each level. You'll have to be nimble when piloting your craft, as there are tons of obstacles littered about and you have a limited amount of fuel. The game features a total of 50 levels across seven worlds, master levels that can be unlocked by finishing the game, and 188 comic scenes.
6th Planet is available for free today only (07/09). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 20 ratings.
Shadow Run ($.99 -> Free, 3 MB): An endless distance game that has you guiding your character over and around obstacles by jumping and flipping gravity. The game features local high scores, and simple two-button controls.

Touch Racing Nitro - Ghost Challenge! ($6.99 -> Free, 26.6 MB): A unique racer that does away with traditional control methods and instead has your car following your finger around the track. The further away your finger is from your car, the faster it will go. The game features 12 vehicles to choose from, 18 tracks, two modes, and Game Center integration.

If you are a developer who would like to get your app included in our “Apps Gone Free” daily lists, here’s our basic set of rules:
- It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
- The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
- The free version of your app must not include ads.
