July 8, 2011

Blast Deadites using dual-stick controls, help Tanuki recover his things from Usagi, and safely store your videos in a password protected library with today's AGF list.

All app prices are subject to change at any time and without notice regardless of stated free duration. Price changes are solely under the control of the developers.

iPhone:

Doughboy ($.99 -> Free, 3 MB): An interactive entertainment app that features a little Poppin' Fresh-like doughboy. Just poke him in the stomach and listen for his iconic giggle, and if you keep bugging him you might be able to tip him over. The app also features a handful of tasty dessert recipes as well.

Doughboy is available for free through the weekend. It has a 3-star rating with a total of 17 ratings.

Cave Dweller : Dy-No-Mite! ($.99 -> Free, 12.5 MB): A puzzle game that requires you to gather all of the bombs scattered around each of the 23 levels and make it safely to the exit so you can blast your way out of the cave. Blocks will fall when walked under, changing the shape of the level and possibly trapping you in a corner, so watch out. The game features an unlockable mode, level editor, and OpenFeint integration.

Cave Dweller : Dy-No-Mite! is available for free today only (07/08). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 13 ratings.

Dark Nebula - Episode One ($.99 -> Free, 26.1 MB): It has been called labyrinth on steroids, but we like to call it the best adventure-based labyrinth game ever conceived. Tilt your device to navigate your character through industrial environments and around all sorts of traps as quickly as you can to obtain the highest possible score. The game features 10 levels, two difficulty settings, and global leaderboards.

Dark Nebula - Episode One is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 437 ratings.

Evil Dead ($1.99 -> Free, 76.1 MB): Play as Ash in this top-down dual-stick adventure game, and fight off the Deadites and a host of other abominations in order to grab the highest score. The game features 30 levels based on the classic film, 3D graphics, and Game Center integration.

Evil Dead is available for free today only (07/08). It has a 4-star rating with a total of 15 ratings.

Video Lock for iPhone - Lock your Moment ($3.99 -> Free, 60 MB): A handy utility app that allows you to safely store your video collection within a password protected library. Videos you have imported or recorded are stored on shelves, which can be rearranged just by tapping and dragging them. The app features TV-out and AirPlay support, two import methods, iTunes File Sharing support, the ability to upload videos to YouTube, video trimming, and much more.

Video Lock for iPhone - Lock your Moment is available for free today only (07/08). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 15 ratings.

TanukiTumble ($.99 -> Free, 21.3 MB): This extremely challenging platform game is all about timing. The goal is to get Tanuki from one side of the screen to the other by jumping at just the right moment in order to bounce off of the other characters in the scene since you can't touch the ground. The game includes a total of 70 levels.

TanukiTumble is available for free until the end of July. It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 5 ratings. iPad:

Evil Dead HD ($2.99 -> Free, 71.1 MB): Like the iPhone version above, except it features iPad-optimized graphics and controls.

Evil Dead HD is available for free today only (07/08). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 7 ratings. Developers: If you are a developer who would like to get your app included in our “Apps Gone Free” daily lists, here’s our basic set of rules:

  • The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
  • The free version of your app must not include ads.
