Tweed ($2.99 -> Free, 5.4 MB): This social networking app turns your Twitter feed into a sort of RSS-like reader. You can scroll through a list of links, then tap on an article to move it to your short-list while you search for more. Then just top on any of your short-list items to view their content. You can also save any article for later using the built-in feature or Instapaper. The best part is, you don't even need a Twitter account to utilize Tweed since you can just follow their suggested feed of noteworthy sources.

If you are a developer who would like to get your app included in our “Apps Gone Free” daily lists, here’s our basic set of rules:
- It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
- The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
- The free version of your app must not include ads.
