iOS Apps Gone Free: Rising Board, UltraDeep, SP SandBox, And More

Go wakeboarding as a square little penguin, collect diamonds as you plummet UltraDeep, and draw in the sand without getting your hands dirty with today's AGF list.

iPhone:

Smoody ($.99 -> Free, 20.3 MB): Get the colorful Smoodies safely to the black hole in each level by cutting wooden planks with the tip of your finger. Other objects such as ropes, magnets, and teleporters appear in later levels which can be used to your advantage. The game features a star rating system based on the number of cuts used, 100 levels, five chapters, and Game Center integration.

UltraDeep ($.99 -> Free, 30.6 MB): This endless casual game has you controlling Doodle Man via tilt controls in an attempt to travel as far down as possible. By collecting the diamonds scattered about, you'll not only be able to charge your super powers but also upgrade them and unlock new items. The game features four environments to travel through, tons of power-ups, and Game Center integration.

UltraDeep is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 54 ratings.

King Idiot 1 - Are you an Idiot ($2.99 -> Free, 16.4 MB): Like the Moron Test and other games before it, King Idiot simply requires you to answer a series of questions and solve puzzles to prove your intelligence or lack thereof. The game features 9 levels with checkpoints, hundreds of puzzles, and global leaderboards.

Rising Board ($.99 -> Free, 18.3 MB): Go wakeboarding as a square little penguin and throw as many gnarly tricks as possible to obtain the highest score. The direction of your board is controlled by tilting your device, and you can perform tricks by swiping in different directions. The game features 15 3D environments, and adorable music and sounds.

Ninja Drop ($.99 -> Free, 8.1 MB): Instead of trying to outrun the top of the screen like most endless falling games, Ninja Drop requires you to avoid falling out of sight through the bottom of the screen by bouncing off of enemies. You can score combo points by bouncing off of enemies consecutively. The game features OpenFeint integration as well.

SP SandBox ($.99 -> Free, 9.5 MB): An entertainment app that allows you to play in the sand without getting dirty. You can pinch and swipe to change the angle of the camera before playing in the sand, and then drag your finger all around to draw in it. You can also import a picture or take a new one to imprint it in the sand. The app features a variety of sand colors, day and dusk modes, and the ability to share your creations via email or Facebook.

SP SandBox is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 7 ratings. iPad:

Smoody HD ($2.99 -> Free, 17.4 MB): Like the iPad version above, but with iPad-optimized graphics and controls.

Mailing Desk - Gmail and what not with style! ($.99 -> Free, 3.4 MB): This productivity app provides you with a quick and elegant way to use Gmail's web interface on your iPad. It also features flick handles on each side of the screen that allow you to view other items like your Google calendar, tasks, docs, maps, and Facebook.
