iPhone Photography App Color Range Gets Updated, Plus Win a Copy

Color Range, by SSA Mobile, is a photo editing app for selective photo coloring, similar to ColorBlast and Color Splash.
In an App Advice review back in June, Color Range was found to be glitchy and nearly unusable, because of crashes, problems with the brushes, and issues with the slider controls.
Since then, SSA Mobile has revamped the app, and I am happy to report that the brushes now work as promised, smoothly with no skipping, and the crashing when saving issue has been fixed.
In addition, several new features have been added, including a new color picker for choosing a specific color in the app and desaturating the rest of the photo and a new color equalizer for fading entire hues.
Here’s a breakdown of the new features in version 2.0:
- All new application architecture for real time image processing.
- Color equalizer has been added.
- Color picker has been added.
- Application is now compatible only with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad, iPad 2, and iPod Touch 3rd generation and newer.
