Monster Hunter Dynamic Hunting Gets An Update

July 5, 2011
Monster Hunter Dynamic Hunting just received a nice update from Capcom. The update brings the game's version to 1.01.00 and adds two new game modes called: "Real Hunt" and "Ex." The "Ex" game mode is for experienced players who want an added challenge once all the main missions are completed. After finishing the last mission, the game will ask you to "take on the new ex challenge," and allow you to play that mode, according to Touch Arcade. "Real Hunt" mode should also add a bit more difficulty and reward experienced hunters who update. To get into this mode simply beat Monoblos and select next mission. Monster Hunter Dynamic Hunting was released a little over a month ago and turned out quite different from the console and PSP versions, but surprisingly interesting enough to stand out on its own. Despite being more arcade-like in nature, and many would say casual, the game offers a nice take on the Infinity Blade formula of combat. You can move around while swiping at the screen to attack and defend against the monsters you must hunt down. The game makes a nice addition to the exploration and combat-oriented game library available for iOS. Although it would be nice to see Capcom support the iPad and make it a universal app. Check out Monster Hunter Dynamic Hunting for the iPhone at a price of $4.99.
