Rig Fire Classic ($0.99) by Golden Helicopter is a disaster avoidance game that requires you to be ready to put out oil rig fires as quickly as possible before they engulf the structure and send it to a watery grave.
To play the game, you must use your men to put out fires, repair rigs, pump oil and mend wounds. The first level gives you one man to put out all fires, but no other disaster appears. The goal is to keep the structure from being destroyed for as long as possible. The longer you last, the higher the point score. Each level gets increasingly difficult as the game incorporates such things as the need to repair a structure, or pump oil. You gain additional men to help with the job, but taking care of the rig becomes more and more complicated as the disasters build.
There are 15 different worlds and each one has at least six levels. The levels are challenging and keep you working every second. The replay value is high since you earn more stars the longer you can keep the oil rig afloat. Each time the level is replayed it is different with fires sprouting up in various spots and injuries taking place at unknown times. There is so much to do and so little time to do it in, you will find yourself enthralled by the madness of it all.
Overall, this game is fast-paced and challenging with plenty of replayability. The concept is fun and exciting. The fact that this game is only $0.99 is the icing on the cake. Only a buck for 100 plus levels of chaotic action is more than just a bargain.
