Out Bounce The Farmer Before He Turns You Into Piggy Strips In Piggy Bounce
Piggy Bounce ($0.99) by Squeevi is a simple yet addictive game in which you're a pig who bounce, bounce, bounces his way to victory, away from the crazy farmer. I know all of you must love bacon, but pretend for a moment that he's Wilbur, he's your friend, and you want to save him from baconification.
The extent of your control is to tilt your phone in the direction you want your pig to go. He'll jump and jump continuously, landing wherever you send him (hopefully on a stable platform). There are many different types of platforms, some of which you do not want to land on or you'll hear the squeal of death, which is somehow worse than the normal jumping sound.
Some of the platforms have spikes, some will make your piggy bounce even higher, and some disintegrate after you touch them. Just be careful where you land.
Also, watch out for the birds! They'll come out of nowhere and try to kill you in midair. The higher you get, the more difficult it becomes; like someone trying to climb multiple flights of stairs while you throw heavy objects at them. Eventually, you're just not quite sure if you can make it; but there is always hope.
What is truly awesome is the way this game takes advantage of Game Center. You can play to get acheivements and the highest score among friends and across all the leaderboards. You can even play multiplayer over Game Center or via Bluetooth.
I found this game to be awesome. Despite the deformed noises that the pig makes while jumping, which can get mildly obnoxious, its entertainment value is high. It's easy enough to pick up for a short time and fun enough to play for longer periods.
For only one dollar, I would definitely pick this one up. After all, you want to save poor Wilbur, don't you?
