Screenlife Launches Scene It? Daily, A Freemium Version Of Their Hit Trivia Game Series

July 14, 2011
Thanks to Screenlife, you can now get your daily pop-culture trivia fix anytime, anywhere with their latest iOS release, Scene It? Daily. Scene It? Daily is actually a new cross-platform game service that's able to deliver movie, music, television and celebrity-themed trivia questions to fans all over the world. The service is currently available on iOS, Android, Facebook and the web, allowing you to start a game at work and finish it on the ride home. You only need to sign up for the free service once by creating a new account on their dedicated website or linking it to your Facebook account.
“Our previous Scene It? games have typically focused on a specific category or license such as horror movies, comedy movies, Harry Potter or Twilight. With Scene It? Daily we developed a game that everyone can enjoy, is incredibly timely and can be played by connected consumers on as many devices as possible,” said Steve Banfield, SVP of Digital Strategy at Screenlife. “Our goal with Scene It? Daily is to provide connected consumers with a quick and fun pop-culture game experience that they can play every day of the week.”
Upon signing into Scene It? Daily, you'll be greeted with the four trivia categories. Tapping on one will allow you to view each day's set of questions and, if you dare, take on the challenge. Each set has a total of six questions that generally deal with today's pop-culture headlines. After completing a set of questions you can view where you stand in the leaderboards or share your results via Facebook or Twitter. Sharing your results may actually benefit you in more ways than one. If you share your results and a friend plays the same set of questions from your link, you'll earn additional tickets. Tickets can be used to unlock a previous day's set of questions since you can only play a couple each day for free. You are also able to earn tickets by completing achievements or viewing sponsored items, although the latter has yet to be available. Tickets can be obtained via in-app purchase as well. Scene It? Daily also features score multipliers for correctly answering questions in a row, power-ups, and Game Center integration. Scene It? Daily for iPhone and iPod touch is now available in the App Store for free.
