With July almost over, we’re headed into the final five months of 2011. With that in mind, we thought now would be a great time to look back and consider our favorite iPad games since January. Note: This article is the second in a two-part series. Earlier, we released our Top 10 iPad Apps Of 2011, So Far list. In no particular order, here are our Top 10 iPad Games Of 2011, through July: Back To The Future series Like the movie trilogy itself, we can’t get enough of Marty McFly and Doc Brown. As such, we are thrilled with each of the five games of the series. Back to the Future Ep 1 HD Back to the Future Ep 2 HD Back to the Future Ep 3 HD Back to the Future Ep 4 HD Back to the Future Ep 5 HD Angry Birds Rio HD Offering a slicker interface that its predecessors, the third Angry Birds game gets away from pig hunting and instead moves to Rio. Plus, the game continues giving back with almost-monthly updates. MONOPOLY HERE & NOW: The World Edition for iPad The original MONOLOPY game was one of the first to arrive in 2010 along with the iPad. This is the more modern version where you can buy entire cities such as Montreal, Paris, and Beijing. Real Racing 2 HD There are many racing games available for the iPad, but this is perhaps the best one to date. Plus, it is specifically optimized for both the iPad and iPad 2. Simply put, Real Racing 2 HD is a blast. Burn The Rope HD Fun and addictive, Burn The Rope HD keeps getting better. It now includes 112 exciting levels and a brand new PUZZLE OF THE DAY feature. Death Rally With guest drivers such as Duke Nukem, Barry Wheeler, and John Gore, this combat racer game is amazing fun and includes optimized features just for the iPad 2. Sid Meier’s Pirates! for iPad This high-seas adventure game lets you man one of 27 fully customizable ships as you descend upon unsuspecting ports looking for a motley crew of seafaring bandits. Atari’s Greatest Hits They’re all here,  those games you played as a child including Centipede, Asteroids, and much more. Marathon 1 Released earlier this month, Marathon 1 is the first in a series of iOS games based on the popular 1994 Mac game by the same name. The aliens have invaded and the current situation is dire. Do you have what it takes to survive? 9mm You’re John “Loose” Kannon, leader of a special team of hardened cops that bend the law in the name of justice.
