De-Unconfirmed: Apple Fall Event NOT To Take Place Early September

August 13, 2011
Yesterday, we reported on an unsubstantiated Mac Rumor that claimed Apple was set to host its Fall Event and iPhone 5 unveiling on September 7. However, according to Jim Dalrymple of The Loop (a site with much better sources and a more accurate track record), the event will not take place at that time. While Dalrymple doesn't suggest any different date or window, the consensus now seems to be that Apple will say its piece sometime after the early September timeframe. Of course, we won't know for sure until Apple actually comes out and tells us. So, until then, the date's as much of a mystery as its event's hidden wonders. Only time will tell.
