Gameloft Doing Well As Of Late

Gameloft has been doing quite well as of late, according to Joystiq. In fact, the iOS gaming company's app sales have gone up by 15 percent during the first half of 2011 and they don't look like they will be slowing down anytime soon. The iOS gaming giant is responsible for many of the App Store console-style games being released.
Gameloft has, at times, been accused of copying games or releasing clones on the App Store, however iOS gamers seem to eat them up. Many iDevice users enjoy console-style games like: Gangstar: West Coast Hustle or Starfront Collision. EA and Gameloft have also had some holiday sales battles with games going down to only $0.99. Both companies have been accused of battling for the top spot on the sales charts and trying to dominate the iOS gaming community during such sales.
The other allegation Gameloft has recently been accused of is overworking employees.
Despite all of these complaints and allegations, Gameloft's strategy is paying off. The company is doing better than ever. Titles that are generally only available for consoles have been ported, or cloned, by Gameloft for the iDevices.
Keep in mind that despite Gameloft's strong presence on iOS, the company makes multi-platform games for a wide variety of systems.
