If you grew up in the Playstation 1-era of video games you may be familiar with a logic-puzzle game called Intelligence Qube. The title offered top-down gameplay on a grid where you had to dodge incoming waves of obstacles by destroying them. You destroyed them by bombing them from underneath or using combo attacks. A new App Store game, called Hope's Quest, looks to offer similar gameplay for the iPad, but with modern 3D graphics.
Hope's Quest has a wide range of environments and impressive visuals, which allows the classic to be brought to life on the iPad's gorgeous widescreen display. According to the app description, the game has six different environments that range from an Egyptian setting to a Tibetan monastery. There are also 60 different puzzles to solve, so the game should provide quite a bit of replay value for puzzle fans.
The story puts you in the role of Hope, who uncovers an evil power that she must seal into a "Pandora's Box." Help Hope solve the evil mystery and test your logical problem solving skills by grabbing the title from the App Store.
Hope's Quest is available for the iPad at a price of $6.99.
