Movie Tie-In Game From Gameloft Coming Later This Year

The Adventures of Tintin is an upcoming movie from legendary director Steven Spielberg that will hit theaters in December. It is a 3D motion picture based on a series of books about a young reporter embarking on a great adventure. An iOS game is also in the works from Gameloft that will tie-in with the upcoming film.
Pocket Gamer got their hands on a build of the game and had some interesting things to say about what to expect.
"Primarily a stealth game, it looks like it’s captured the feel of the new animated film in both look and in terms of how it plays," according to Pocket Gamer.
Gameplay will consist of moving around from cover to cover and avoiding enemies, rather than clashing head on. Controls have been described as consisting of virtual buttons in the shapes of stamps used to move Tintin around.
The game will be closely tied to the film’s plot.
"So much so that little details such as the design on the various smuggling containers are perfectly modelled replicas of the celluloid version," Pocket Gamer states.
No exact release date has been set, but look for it at the end of the year and near the film's release.
