Quirky App Of The Day: Hapi Coin

Hapi Coin is a fun, addictive game that involves dropping coins. There are pegs that the coins plink around on, and they drop down into a slot below. There are seven slots, and your goal is to have a coin in as many neighboring slots without stacking the coins. Once you have at least two coins next to each other, you can shake the iDevice for your reward. Your reward is more coins. You can buy things from the shop, upgrade your coin regeneration times, backgrounds and your max regeneration limit.
I remember seeing something like this on "The Price Is Right" as a kid, and I always thought that the game would be a whole lot stinking easier if they would just get rid of the pegs. Then, I learned that it would defeat the purpose of the game. Unlike "The Price Is Right," aside from not having a host, you can tilt your iDevice when your coin is going slowly enough or is stopped on top of one of the dividers. This helps things go your way just a little bit more often.
There is also a slot machine over the middle slot. After you get a coin into the middle slot three times, you activate the slot machine and can earn things like more coins or double rewards.
