Skype is famous for its option to video chat with friends, family, and colleagues. However, such a feature is common with a lot of chatting softwares nowadays. Now, Skype is taking back the crown with a new feature added to their 5.3 update for Mac OS X. Along with other bug fixes and UI improvements, 5.3 will bring HD video calls to Mac Lion!
The update is built to work with Apple's Mac OS' from Lion all the way back to Leopard. Of course, you'll only be able to send/recieve HD calls if your webcam is HD. If you are sporting the newest Mac's, you are fine. However, if you have the older models that do not have HD webcams (anything from early 2010 back), then you'd have to buy a WebCam.
If you are ready to take advantage of the new features, download the newest Skype update here! I for one have it downloading right now!
