These Nice Wood Cord Organizers Help With A Tangled Mess

August 22, 2011
Are you sick of all your cords dangling, tangling and creating a frustrating mess? Tomuni has new wooden organizers that may help. Sometimes, the simplest things are the most useful. This may be one of those items. Often, headphone purchases will include a little plastic piece that serves as a way to organize your cord and it is something that is easily lost or left unused (or thrown out by mistake with the packaging). These nice-looking Tumoni wood cord organizers are here to help, and are an attractive way to clean up your cord clutter. They are currently available in Japan, however, there are hints they will soon be available worldwide. They are crafted from four types of wood: Japanese Oak, Walnut, Odom, and Wenge.

Along with the various woods, they also come in three different sizes: small for headphones, medium for USB cords and large for LAN cables.

These are a little on the expensive side, but who knows what they may cost once they are exported. Depending on the size of the organizer you need, they currently cost between 1,200 and 1,890 Japanese Yen, which translates to about $16.00 to $24.00. If you would like to be one of the first people outside of Japan to own these, you can order them at the Japanese Pencils online store. When I checked, most sizes and wood types were sold out already. I imagine if these continue to sell well, we will see other makers creating something similar.
