AppAdvice has teamed up with Kiteretsu Inc. in order to offer you a chance to win one of five promo codes for Zookeeper DX Touch Edition ($1.99) for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
This iOS version of the popular online matching game from years ago requires you to round up all of the zoo animals that have escaped from their cages by matching three or more of the same kind before time expires. Knowing that, do you think you have what it takes to be the world's best Zookeeper?
Matching animals is as easy as touching and dragging your finger to swap tiles. Each match will extend the amount of time you have, which can be seen at the bottom of the screen. As long as you are able to achieve the target number of matches before time expires, you'll move on to the next stage with a brand new set of tiles.
If you find yourself stuck, you can tap the binoculars icon in the bottom left corner of the screen, which will reveal all available matches. You can also tap on the special tile to remove a select group of animal tiles. Sometimes this is the best way to obtain additional points from consecutive matches, or it can clear things up to make large matches.
Zookeeper includes two separate modes, but both play generally the same way. Normal mode requires you to catch an ever-increasing target number of animals before time expires, and Tokoton mode requires you to catch 100 animals of any kind to keep advancing. The biggest difference is that Normal mode has a limited number of stages while Tokoton is endless.
Zookeeper features a colorful and supremely adorable art style, a quick tutorial, a short backstory, and Game Center integration.
