Completion ($2.99) by Pivotal Action is a Getting Things Done (GTD) app that organizes and prioritizes your projects so you can spend less time making lists and more time accomplishing tasks. There are a lot of GTD apps that bog you down with complicated prioritization techniques. Some people thrive on that kind of minute organization. For the rest of us, simple lists that can be grouped and prioritized effectively are a better alternative. Completion does just that.

The first thing you will see when you open the app is the project section. There are already three projects listed for you, but you can delete them at any time. You can either select from the pre-made lists, or start your own project list. Once you have selected a project, you can add tasks to it by selecting the plus (+) button on the top right side of the screen. This will take you to the task details. Here, you can name the task, select a category for it, set a due date, prioritize it and add notes. The priority feature is a simple sliding scale of numbers between zero and 100. Set your task to the number that represents how important it is for the project you are working on.

Each project has tasks that can be ordered either by group, due date or priority. If you are working on a specific area of your project, you can view the tasks as groups. If you want to know how much time you have to complete each task, you can adjust the order by due date. If you feel overwhelmed by your project and don’t know where to start, view the priority order and start at the top.

You can also view all of your projects’ tasks in one master list. You can order the master list by either due date or priority. This can help if you have a lot on your plate and need to figure out which projects are most important and need to get done first.

Overall, this is the perfect app for those looking for a simple and effective way to keep track of projects. The few bells and whistles that exist are simple to understand. You can reorder your lists and tasks with a simple tap and you’ll never feel overwhelmed by too many complicated features. You can pickup Completion in the App Store for $2.99.
