Does T-Mobile Know Something About The iPhone 5?

Deutsche Telekom AG is now taking reservations for the iPhone 5 through its T-Mobile subsidiary in Germany. This news comes from Bloomberg.
Even though Apple has yet to officially announce a successor to its iPhone 4, that hasn’t stopped T-Mobile from offering the device as a preorder to its existing German customers.
According to Deutsche Telekom spokesman Alexander von Schmettow, the operator is now handing out coupons for people “who expressly request the successor model to the iPhone 4, without providing the name or release details of the device.”
Largely expected to be released in the next month or two, the iPhone 5 has long been rumored. Despite that, Apple has yet to confirm the iPhone 4 successor or announce one of the company’s infamous “special events,” where it would likely be unveiled.
Despite that, folks in Germany can now preorder the iDevice, for whatever that is worth.
