iOS Apps Gone Free: Curvebot Evolved, Springball HD, Flick Away, And More

Cut through 3D shapes as Curvebot in order to save your friends from the dull and dreary drones. We also have a tilt-based arcade game that requires you to keep a soccer ball in the air using only your head, and fast-paced critter flicking game.

iPhone:

Flick Away: Episode 2 ($0.99 -> Free, 14.4 MB): As its name alludes, Flick Away requires you to flick critters away from the finish line and off of the screen. The closer to the first line the critters get without passing the second line, the more points you'll receive. The game includes two modes, a combo system, 42 missions, and Game Center integration.

Cat Nap Pro ($0.99 -> Free, 1.5 MB): Need a cat nap? Just set the timer and let Cat Nap Pro wake you up when the time is right. The app includes the ability to wake you up with your own songs, automatic military time detection, timer repeat, multiple backgrounds to choose from, and, of course, a fuzzy cat to wake up to.

Universal:

Curvebot Evolved ($0.99 -> Free, 5.0 MB): Take control of Curvebot and try to cut away at least 80% of the 3D environments in this QIX-inspired cutting game. Curvebot speeds around the outside of each environment until you tap both arrows to cut into the middle. The game includes two modes, 72 levels, 12 worlds, and Game Center integration.

PUZZINGO – Educational Toddler Puzzle by 77SPARX Studio ($1.99 -> Free, 32.3 MB): An educational puzzle game designed with toddlers in mind. You’re child is not only able to put together puzzles but also build up their very own circus. The game includes loads of puzzles, over a hundred pieces to place, and all kinds of interactive items.

Springball HD ($0.99 -> Free, 20.4 MB): A physics-based arcade game that requires you to move your character around the screen in order to keep a soccer ball in the air, bounce it through hoops, or get it above a line. The game features tilt controls to move your character, and you can tap the screen to make him jump and propel the ball even higher. It also includes a total of four game modes, and star ratings for each challenge.

Springball HD is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 88 ratings.

Backgammon Deluxe ($0.99 -> Free, 37.0 MB): A digital version of one of the oldest two-player dice board games around. Just be the first player to remove all of your pieces from the board to win. A little luck is involved, but you can do it. The game includes three levels of difficulty in single player mode. It also includes same-device multiplayer, and the ability to simply bump two devices together to play wirelessly.

Backgammon Deluxe is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3-star rating with a total of 122 ratings.

Chess Knight ($0.99 -> Free, 21.1 MB): Play a game of chess anytime, anywhere with Chess Knight. The game allows you to play against four different AI opponents, or you can go head-to-head against a friend on the same device or locally by bumping your two devices together.
