iOS Apps Gone Free: Zombie Highway, Wooords, TuneShout Pro, And More

Survive Zombie Highway using any means necessary, create words in a fridge magnet-like environment, and stream tunes over a local Wi-Fi network with today's AGF list.

Crochet Decoder ($.99 -> Free, 1.7 MB): An app for crocheters who need a little help with pattern abbreviations and symbols. It features an extensive guide to pattern abbreviations, a hook converter, and decoders for yarn numbers and weights along with instruction symbols.

Tiny Ball vs. Evil Devil ($.99 -> Free, 12.9 MB): For the physics-based puzzle fans out there. Launch tiny balls at the red devil blocks in order to knock them off of their perches. The cannon that you launch the tiny balls out of can be moved up and down, and you can control the direction of your shot by tapping anywhere on the screen. The game features 80 levels, a variety of blocks, and Game Center integration.

Tiny Ball vs. Evil Devil is available for free through the weekend. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 17 ratings.

Thorn: Zombie Dungeon Survival ($.99 -> Free, 19.4 MB): Take control of Thorn, a viking hero with a short temper, and make your way through each dungeon before time expires by slicing and blowing up the zombies. The game features simple controls where you can just tap on a spot to move, tap on an enemy to slice it up, double tap to roll, and swipe to throw items. It also now features an additional escape mode that can be unlocked via in-app purchase.

World Geography Flashcards ($1.99 -> Free, 46.3 MB): Learn, or just brush up on, your world maps and capitals with this educational tool. It includes over 600 flashcards that will test your knowledge on maps, capitals, and world currencies. It also includes a customized flashcard repetition algorithm, browse and search, and stat tracking.

Post It! ® Media Uploader ($.99 -> Free, 5.8 MB): If you absolutely love sharing things on social networks, this is your app. Post It! allows you to upload images, videos, links, and more quickly and easily to a bunch of different social networks. The best part is, you can upload all of your items to different networks simultaneously in the background. The app includes the ability to snap pictures and record videos, and support for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo, and more.

Wooords ($1.99 -> Free, 15.3 MB): Probably one of the most straightforward word games you'll ever play thanks to its unique fridge magnet gameplay. All you have to do is drag letters around the screen in an open environment to create words with at least four letters, but you must make sure to use the letter highlighted in red in each word. The game includes three modes, 60 puzzles, combos and multipliers, and Game Center integration.

Wooords is available for free through the weekend. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 5 ratings.

TuneShout Pro - Song Exporter ($.99 -> Free, 3.4 MB): Allows you to download or play music from your iDevice on any computer on your local Wi-Fi network without any additional software. Each song includes metadata, artist and album name, and even provides you with a link to a YouTube clip.

Zombie Highway ($.99 -> Free, 19.1 MB): Your mission is to survive Zombie Highway by keeping the zombies off of your car for as long as possible. You can accomplish this seemingly simple task by running them down before they latch on, by scraping off the ones that have latched on, or by blasting them away with one of many guns. The game features six levels, two environments, three cars, seven zombie types, 13 guns, and Game Center integration.
