AppAdvice is thriving. On top of our industry-leading website and app, we're currently working on many exciting new projects to help make the App Store a better place. And for that very reason, we need your help.
We're looking for a couple of amazing App Store-savvy writers and experts from all around the world to join the incredible AppAdvice team. We have openings in several different departments. All of the positions are paid gigs (both freelance, and salaried). Also, please note that these are all serious jobs that will take work and dedication. Here is what we need:
News
We're looking for iOS news writers with a perfect command of the English language. If you're the kind of person who finds out about hot new apps and incredible iOS-related news before anyone else, and can quickly write about them without a single typo, you're the ideal candidate.
AppLists and AppGuides
Next, we're looking for some App Store experts with good investigative skills to help us put together our signature, award-winning, Applists and Appguides. Do you have what it takes to try every single airline fare-finding application in the App Store and tell the world which one is the best? Or, can you compile the best collection of apps that will turn your iPad into the perfect visual display to keep on your office desk? If you can, you're the person we're looking for.
App Watchers
Last, but not least; if you're not scared of the App Store and its 478,872 apps, we're looking for some human-hawk hybrids. You'll help us operate the AppAdvice megatronic, laser-powered App Store watching infrastructure. That is, your role will be to help us go through every single app that Apple approves each day, and help us spot the very best ones before anyone else. The ones you deem worthy will get to rock the AppAdvice website/app.
If you think you have what it takes, apply now at
jobs@appadvice.com. Make sure to specify which position you're applying for and tell us why you're the one we have to hire. Feel free to include any details about yourself that might be relevant to our decision. Prior experience is a plus, but not a requirement. We'll preserve your anonymity, but will require that you aren't employed by a competing company if you end up receiving an offer. We won't consider applicants under 18-years of age.
Finally, due to the number of applications we receive, we will only respond to candidates we are interested in. We apologize for that in advance.
Good luck, and hopefully I'll be working with you soon.
