Swift Voice Simplifies The Process Of Emailing Voice Memos - Plus A Chance To Win!
Swift Voice ($0.99) by CodeGoo is the easiest way to record a voice memo and get it sent by email from your iPhone or iPad.
Sometimes there are just too many steps involved for a simple task. A fine example is video capture – CodeGoo also has a solution for this, with Swift. Simply open the app and it will start recording video – tap on the home button to have your video saved to your Camera Roll. Now, CodeGoo has brought this same concept to voice memos with Swift Voice.
When you open the app, the first thing you will need to do is to set up the default email address that the app will send all your voice memos to. This can be changed later through Settings.app. After you enter the email address in, just tap on the screen to begin recording.
Swift Voice has an extremely simple interface. The top will show the audio level, while the length of the recording will be shown at the bottom. The middle of the screen will be taken up with a gorgeous graphic of an old-school microphone. Pretty simple, right?
Once you’re done with the recording, just tap on the home button. Your recording will be saved and sent as a .caf file to the email address you specified. Depending on how long the recording was, email delivery should be anywhere from seconds to minutes.
Other settings include displaying the Welcome Screen on every launch (probably not so useful), email and File sharing (through iTunes). If you ever need to change the email that the recording is sent to, just come here.
This is an extremely simple and useful voice memo app that should be great to have on many occasions. Examples would be when you need to jot down something while driving, sending messages to your significant other while out-and-about, simple reminders to yourself without needing to go through complicated steps, and more. The possibilities for the app are endless, and much needed! Other voice memo apps require multiple taps to record, save, and email – Swift Voice just requires opening the app, recording, and pressing the home button.
Emailing voice memos has never been so simple.
