Both versions of the top-down space exploration game, Space Miner: Space Ore Bust, recently went on sale. Space Miner for iPhone can be currently grabbed for $0.99 while iPad owners can grab Space Miner HD for $1.99. Space Miner is like the classic arcade game, Asteroids, but with a whole bunch of options and gameplay elements added. You can explore space, take on missions, manage resources, and upgrade your ship. There is also an RPG element present in the game. The storyline revolves around a space miner who harvests valuable ore from fields of asteroids. A ruthless space bank is trying to take over the family business and targets his uncle Jeb. You must help the miner with his tasks in an effort to save uncle Jeb's business. The battle sections can be quite challenging and will have you maneuvering around many obstacles. Think of this part of the game as an intense dual-stick shooter all by itself. The overall game is quite large in scope with a lot of gameplay to be had. Now with the price drop, it is the perfect time to pick it up. Space Miner is currently available on the App Store for $0.99. Space Miner HD is currently available on the App Store for $1.99.
