Apple Announces New Cards App

Apple today announced its new Cards app for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad. The free app, which will arrive on October 12, lets users design greeting cards right from their iDevice.
Choosing from one of 21 designs, users will be able to print each card out, or email it to Apple for professional customization. Apple will sent each card out to your recipients for $2.99 per card.
When the cards arrive at their destination, you receive a push notification to alert you.
