Apple Sales Reps Will Know A Lot About The iPhone 4S - And Now You Can Too

October 5, 2011

Millions of buyers will make iPhone 4S purchases next week without once asking an Apple representative a question about the new handset. Still, when the questions do come, Apple will be ready.  9 To 5 Mac has uncovered internal documents being used to explain the iPhone 4S to their employees, so they can explain it to you.

A document entitled, “First Look – iPhone 4S,” details those “key messages” each sales representative should get across to each buyer. These include information about the iPhone 4S’s new camera and optics, dual-core A5 chip, iOS 5, Siri, and iCloud. In addition, the document offers directions to provide customers with quick demonstrations on the new camera, iOS 5 and Siri. For example, with Siri sales reps are supposed to press and hold the iPhone 4S’s home button and ask “What can you do?” and “Do I need an umbrella night.” Apple employees will also be armed with directions to sell the company’s new Cards app, iWork for iOS, iPod touch, and the iPod nano.
