Batch Photo-Editing App Arrives - It's Really Good
October 28, 2011
The team behind the popular DailyBooth app has cooked up something new for the iPhone/iPod touch. Batch is a photo app that lets you send “batches” of photos to your friends and family.
Batch isn’t the first photo-sharing app to arrive in the App Store. However, it could be the simplest one to use. And that is saying a lot given that there are now hundreds of photo apps currently available.
After logging in with your Facebook account, Batch asks you to create your very first batch. To do this, either begin taking new photos or select existing ones from the Camera Roll. Once the photos are selected, name your batch. Finally, you’re given an opportunity to tag the photos. For example, you might want to add names and places to your batch.
Finally, identify your batch as “Private” or “Friends” and decide whether to send a link via Facebook and/or Twitter. Then hit “Create your batch!”
While Batch makes creating sets of photos simple, editing those batches is even easier. Just click on the batch and then select “Edit.” From there, you can add or remove photos, change the batch’s name or add tags. In addition, by selecting “Share” you can resend the link to others via email, text, Facebook or Twitter. The links created are accessible through any desktop or mobile web browser.
