Pocket God Episode 41 With iOS 5 Support Now Available In The App Store

October 13, 2011
Pocket God updates may be extremely common, but it isn't everyday that one of the App Store's best-selling apps of all time receives not only new content but also new features thanks to Apple's latest iOS update, which is why we're here to tell you all about it. I Sting the Body Electric is the title of Pocket God's latest episode, which introduces a new coral reef location on the ocean floor. This new location is certainly beautiful, but don't let its looks fool you because it's a dangerous place for pygmies, as it is infested with deadly jellyfish. Pygmies can be fed to the electrified jellyfish by attaching their tentacles to them, or you can suffocate the pygmies by placing jellyfish right over their heads. The latest update also adds asynchronous turn-based gameplay, allowing you to face off against friends or just random opponents in the Battle of the Gods mini-game, which was first introduced in Episode 40. Along with that nifty feature, Pocket God is now able to push your challenges and progress to iCloud, allowing you to pick up where you left off no matter where you are or what device you're using. Finally, as an added bonus, you can turn your islands into underwater wonderlands with the Underwater World Pack in-app purchase for $.99. The latest version of Pocket God for iPhone and iPod touch is now available in the App Store for $.99. Just make sure you have iOS 5 installed to take advantage of these new features.
