Suicide Kings ($0.99) by Digital Leprechaun LLC is a puzzle game similar to Tetris, but with poker mechanics thrown in for an extra challenge.

This fast-paced game has three levels of difficulty to choose from: casual, medium, and hard. The first time you play, you'll have the option to run through the quick tutorial. I suggest doing so your first time playing as it will explain the game mechanics to you without much effort.

As the cards drop from the top of the screen, like Tetris pieces, you must move them where you want them. You can shift them left, right, force them straight down, and even rotate the links of cards as they fall. They land in the "river," which is the bottom of the screen, and you must tap the cards to form poker hands — but they must be touching each other. There are also wild cards in the game that you can use as any card you want when creating the hands for points.

As the game progresses, and the pieces are coming faster than you can find hands, you have the option to tap the hourglass. This freezes everything momentarily, giving you a few seconds to scan the cards for the poker hands. But don't let the stacks of cards go over the top line or it's game over.

I don't like that there isn't an actual pause button. However, if you exit the game while you're playing, or are interrupted by something, it will automatically pause the game for you.

I'm not crazy about the graphics, though it definitely has a casino feel, especially with the music and sounds. However this unique mashup of these two games will surely keep you on your toes.
