Reflexions ($1.99) by YoYo Games Ltd. is an exciting new universal puzzle-based app that looks like it belongs in 1984 but plays like it came from the future. Play through 40 levels of platform flipping and ball ricocheting excitement with this casual game.
The goal of this game is simple. Get the ball from point A to point B. The difficulty lies in the complex obstacle course that the neon sphere must be navigated through. Once you tap the ball of light, it won’t stop moving until it either reaches the exit portal or is destroyed. You must tap strategically placed platforms to switch their direction, allowing the globe to bounce along a different path. There are various blue squares that must be picked up before the exit will open, so the course is never trouble free.
Visually, Reflexions looks a lot like Finger Gravity HD. The games, while both puzzle-based, are very different, but if you like Finger Gravity, you’ll like this game as well. The high-quality rendering of the shapes is quite striking. While it challenges your brain power, it is not the least bit stressful. There are 40 levels over four worlds with 20 achievements to unlock.
Overall, this universal app is engaging and puts your brain to the test. The gameplay is smooth and replay value is high. Each level offers additional points for better performance.
