obocat ($0.99) by Daniel Toranzo Perez is a quick and easy way to send messages and images to Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr. Not only that, you can use obocat to send emails and texts all from the same app.

The app is simple. You log into Facebook, Twitter or Tumblr and post either messages or images with a few taps. If you want to send something directly to someone, you can also send emails and text messages in the same, simple manner. You can log out of all three social media sites with one tap of the logout button. No fuss, no muss. This simple app is a convenient way to communicate without having to open up multiple apps or send messages and texts from separate pages.

I love how simple this app is and I hate how simple it is at the same time. Everything is conveniently located within one app, but you can’t send a Facebook, Twitter and Tumbler post all at the same time. Each one must be posted individually. If simultaneous postings were a feature, obocat would be my new favorite social media app. Without it, it is just kind of helpful.

Overall, the app is easy to understand and effortless to use. The features are very simple, but very convenient. Because obocat does not have the capability to post to multiple websites at once, I can’t recommend it as more than a novelty. It is only $0.99, so it won’t even make a dent in your pocketbook. Give it a try if you are looking for an app that offers these features.
