TeleNav Navigation Promotion Ends Soon And We Are Giving Subscriptions Away
October 5, 2011
TeleNav GPS Plus by TeleNav Inc. has been running a great promotion on their one-year subscription to their navigation service. Currently, you can subscribe for $9.99, which is a $12 savings. TeleNav is one of the top rated navigation apps in the App Store and this special will expire in just five days.
The full featured version of TeleNav provides spoken turn-by-turn directions that sound like a real human voice instead of a computer. The integrated traffic guided navigation will help you avoid highway snarls and get you to your destination the quickest way possible.
If you miss your turn or run into a detour, TeleNav will automatically reroute you to your destination. If you need gas, you can locate the lowest prices near your current location.
Another great feature in TeleNav is mileage tracking. Press start, and the app will begin recording your miles so you can use the information for any business or volunteer expenses you need to track.
A recent update to the app brought voice commands and Facebook integration. The voice command feature will allow you to speak your commands instead of typing them while on the go. With the new Facebook feature, you can post your destinations right from the app.
There is a free version of TeleNav you can try out if you want to see if it will fit your travel adventures. This version does not have the spoken turn-by-turn directions and voice commands, but you can at least check out the interface. Otherwise there is a $0.99 version, which will unlock all the features for 30 days so you can try the full version out before you buy.
Jump in the car and take a fall road trip and tell us where you are going or what you think of TeleNav for a chance to win a one-year subscription for free! Giveaway ends on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. CDT.
If you don’t win, this special price will go away on October 10, 2011, so don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity. Also, check out AppAdvice’s full review of TeleNav.
