The iPhone 4S Vs. The iPhone 4

The iPhone 4S Vs. The iPhone 4

October 5, 2011
The folks at The Verge were the first to highlight the hardware differences between the iPhone 4S and its predecessor by releasing the attached table. Most interesting, mainly because Apple didn’t mention it at yesterday’s iPhone event, is that the iPhone 4S weighs three grams more than the iPhone 4. Will this extra weight cause some to bypass Apple’s latest wonder? Probably not. As you can see from the table, the iPhone 4S includes a new Apple A5 dual-core processor, world cellular service, and an improved rear camera. In addition, video capture is significantly improved. Plus, the iPhone 4S is the exclusive home of Apple’s new Siri intelligent assistant. Finally, unlike the iPhone 4, the iPhone 4S is available with 64GB (for $399). As a reminder, pre-orders for the iPhone 4S begin at 12 midnight EDT on Friday.
