Add realistic-looking face painting to your photos with Kid Face - The Best Face Painting App. Check out our review of the app (which used to be called Kid Face - Halloween Edition) here. Basically, you can “paint” any face - take a photo within the app or use a photo from your photo library. And, the app is now universal, so you can use it on your iPhone, iPod touch, and/or iPad.
Be sure to use a photo where the face is centered and forward-facing, or else you won’t be able to line it up properly to apply the face paint. Also, in my opinion, this app does contain an awful lot of ads for a paid app: when you go to select a character, you’ll find more “buy this megapack” faces than actual faces to apply. The developer assures me that an update is in the works to change how they offer the in-app purchases, to do it in a much more elegant and unobtrusive way.
Still, it’s a fun app to play with, and if you have kids, they are sure to be intrigued by their own "painted" faces.
