AppAdvice has teamed up with Wolf Studios in order to offer you a chance to win one of 10 promo codes for War of Words ($.99) for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. War of Words takes the usual word game formula and kicks it up a notch with all kinds of special action tiles that can completely change the complexion of each game you play. In the game you take turns with your opponent placing letter tiles from your tray onto the game board to form words, just as you would in any other word game. All of the included game boards are set up a little differently, but each one features some form of special tile to either help or hinder you. However, instead of just receiving random letter tiles in your tray, you'll also receive action tiles. These action tiles allow you to do all kinds of different things like steal tiles from your opponent, blow up their words, or break the rules by playing words backwards. The game includes a total of 10 different action tiles, each of which have a mini tutorial so you'll know exactly when and how to deploy them. War of Words also includes a total of 24 different boards to play ranging from easy to supremely difficult, pass and play multiplayer, online multiplayer via Game Center, over 90 achievements, online chat, and push notifications so you'll always know when it's your turn.
